June 2012 Utah Highland Games

I am so excited.

I can hardly wait. In fact, I was going to hightail it down to Las Vegas for their highland games in April but I wouldn't have enough time.

Anyway, I am going to be competing in the highland dance competition in the adult division. My five year old and four year old nieces are also competing.

Is anyone else competing in the Utah games in June or going to attend them just for the kilt of it?

We should have a Xmarks the Scot get together, kilts in all. I'll bring some Scottish shortbread to the get together.

I'm planning on it. I met with Matty and Gael Ridire at the Cache Valley Celtic Festival last year, and it would be good to put a few more names to faces.

I am a little frustrated with the Cache Valley games... *pout* ...it appears like they aren't going to have highland dance competitions there this year... It was something about changing from the leadership of the Utah Scots Assoc. to another association. I wonder what happened.

Oh well.

Anyway, I'm excited about seeing you guys at the Highland games in Lehi this June!
