This indeed is good news, I've got a few suggestions for you. Firstly for Ontario Canada I'd say you really have two choices Fergus,or Glengarry. I might even look at the Loch Norman Games in North Carolina or perhaps the Grandfather Mountain Games .

Of course I am biased, but the Stone Mountain Highland Games is always good as well. But from where you are, a games in England or Scotland might be a great introduction!

That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Robert - you might want to ask Matt Newsome at the Scottish Tartans Museum for his opinion. He attends most of the larger games on the East Coast of the USA.

It's good there are grants available for you to travel to a Highland Games/Gathering to promote her quality kilts.. I am sure you will find the most fitting event to spread her craft even more, around the world. What ever event you choose, will be the best one possible.

Glengarry would be my vote, then combine it with Montreal the following day so you will have both English and French. Glengarry is North Americas Largest.

That's exciting news, congratulations! I would push for my local Games but Vista, while a lovely venue, is quite small; Orange County is a dull venue (industrial-flavor fairgrounds); and the one you would think would be fabulous -- the Queen Mary! -- is really horrid. I am always jealous of the photos posted from other lovely Games sites.
I'm sure you will have a warm reception where ever you decide to venture!
