Long Island Games ... Westbury Gardens NY

This coming Saturday, August 24th is the Long Island Games at Westbury Gardens NY... only half an hour away from Manhattan.
Anybody coming? I'll be there at the Scottish Heritage tent doing a couple of presentations on kilts and tartan. I don't do vending because sewing kilts takes up all my time.
There will be lots of good things going on during the day: highland dancing with Shot of Scotch, pipe bands, music, singing, and all sorts of fun!

Bonnie, I will be there. I will make sure to stop by and see you. I will actually be in kilt for the 5th time. I wore it this past weekend at the Hunter Mountain Celtic Fest.

Not to steal the thread, but how was the Hunter Mountain Celtic Fest? Were there a lot of kilted folks? I would have went, but we had company and other things to do. I work in Catskill and live not far from Hunter.

Will you be at the games in Altamont weekend after next? Those are traditional, and will be a hoot. The wee lass and I will be there both Saturday and sunday

Frank, Hunter was good. Not many kilted. Much larger crowd on Sun. I will not be at Altamont, maybe next year instead of Hunter. I actually live in the city and travel is limited.
