Michigan Renaissance Festival - Highland Fling! Meet-up

My wife and I have season tickets to the Michigan Renaissance Festival located at 12600 Dixie Hwy Holly, Michigan 48442. We'll be there at least one day each weekend. The festival runs August 17th through September 29th, 2013. Most likely our first day will be Sunday August 18th.

Although there's a theme each weekend, and it's fun to attend any weekend, one of our favorites is the Highland Fling! on August 24th & 25th. The event includes:
• Themed Feast of Fantasy!
• US Canadian Highland Heavy Games
• Amateur Highland Games
• Pipe & Drum Blowout
• Celtic Village
• Highland Dancers
• Beer Tasting
• Men in Kilts Competition
• Scotch Egg Eating Contest
• FREE Vow Renewals at 11:30am

If anyone is interested, let's organize a meet-up! I'm all for meeting at one of the pubs for a pint or three, but the group can decided on a time/place.

Sounds like a grt time, and a fantastic season to live in Michigan... enjoy. BTW, my brother would take that Scotch Egg eating contest by a mile. He is quite the glutton.
