Minnesota Highland Games
Well the Minnesota Highland Games were this past weekend May 17th, and this Florida Cracker headed north last Friday. After arriving at the airport I had lunch at the Mall of America, very cool. Amusement park in the center with three roller coasters.
I then made a trip up to Anoka, MN the new home for FRUGAL CORNER's brick and morter store. Very nice store with an incredable amount of kilts hanging. The store is larger than it looks on the web.
Saturday, I went down to Farming, MN for the games. Beautiful day high 40's to mid 50's.

There's a pic of Jeff the local AD, he must of said FLORIDA 100 times on that microphone that morning.

This was my Judge, he is the AD's brother.

These guy were great competators, two brothers one local and from billings, MT

It was a awesome day....

Here's pics of Mark Wright on the left and Mark Bennett on the right from Frugal Corner.

Frugal Corners booth at the game.

Arizona Scot, yes I did compete and did well. I just started this year so in Florida I compete in the "C's" but Minnesota only had "A's" and "B's" so I competed in the "B's" and finished in the middle of the pack.

James MacMillan, yes it was GREAT Monday morning when I left it was 48 degrees, then when I got home to Florida it seemed like it was 90 degrees.

Yaish, yes Florida to Minnesota was a distance but I am thinking about going to California for a game.
