Acting on a tip from our friends at the Chicago Taffia Society, I see that Saturday, December 8 is, basically, Celtic day at the Museum Of Science And Industry's Christmas Around The World exhibit....the Irish dancers start at 12:45 PM, followed by a church chorus, the Welsh dancers and, finally, a Scottish Country Dance demo at 4:30 PM.

Anybody? All you have to do is take the #10 MSI bus from State Street in downtown Chicago and it takes you right to the front door. Anybody want to try to get a kilted presence at MSI that afternoon? Sadly, the once free museum is now asking a $15 admission fee and are GENEROUSLY offering a whole $1 discount for those over 65....can they spare it?
I realize that the admission charge might be a game killer so if anybody else is serious, lemme know here....otherwise, I'll be at the bar at the Duke Of Perth because a Saturday afternoon is a terrible thing to waste.
