Newport, RI, Celtic Rock Festival 2013

This August 24, is the Newport Celtic Rock Festival! Dropkick Murphy will be playing around 12n.

The event is at the Wharf downtown Newport.

I hope to see some fellow XMarks and Dropkick fans!

Love to go... but your 3/4 of a country away. Dropkicks only get out this way every couple years or so. I've been to 3 tours, and jump any time they are in town. Awesome show... enjoy.

There were plenty of kilts around... not as many as I'd expect, but a fair number. Interestingly, they spanned the ages... some youngish (say 15yrs or so) and some not so youngish (say 60+) as well as anything in between. I won't lie, I just wanted a picture with his mohawk--it took his girlfriend over an hour working on it.
