I'm hoping to be there on Saturday!
I have "put my foot down", so we shall see.
We may end up spending Saturday Night in Abq.,and then getting up and out by 8am to be at the Kirking in Taos by 11am on Sunday.
Will there be any kilted get togethers on Saturday evening?
Si Deus, quis contra? Spence and Brown on my mother's side, Johnston from my father, proud member of Clan MacDuff!

Pants is only a present tense verb here. I once panted, but it's all cool now.

I have heard of no Kilt Night in connection with the Games -- but then again, I'm not really very connected. I'll have family in town from Arizona so doubt if we'll be doing anything extra.
Last year they allowed "Celtic" dog breeds. I took my Westie and my son took his Aussie Shepherd (that's a celtic breed - right? ). At the entrance to the games they had a group of people who put ribbons on the dogs and gave the owners ribbons that said "Ask me about my Celtic dog" or something like that. No problems...
On Saturday, I'll be wearing MacMillan Ancient and on Sunday, I'll be in Gordon Red. I'll most likely be accompanied by a gorgeous blond occasionally riding in a power-chair. Say Hi if you see us .
Rob.

Could be interesting trying to pass a Chinese Pug off as Celtic - even thou they were very popular among the royalty of the UK though history. - LOL. My owner is my avatar. Totally PW as in pug whipped.
My long range forecast is light wind clear highs around 80.
NOT NWS this is http://weather.unisys.com/ much more reliable.
Have been using them for camping weather for 15 years.
The programs used to be Purdue U weather and Unisys bought it.
The GFS is a combination of three programs that together seem very accurate.
Todays PSA. LOL
Better at ten days out than NWS is for tomorrow! They are both using the same sensor data.

I don't know. He does look a lot like Winston Churchill. Tell 'em he's a Manchurian-Scottish pug named Lob Loy.
I plan to be at the games on Saturday, at least. I'll be on the look out for all you folks. Slainte!

Rain potential gone by tues AM. then clear, calm to light wind, temps mid 50s to high 80s both days.
Probably be there Saturday AM without "the boss - will deal with stern 15 minute lecture when I get back home " of course, with the new leather R-Kilt on, ya'll gotta feel this buttery soft naked leather to really appreciate it. LOL And purple t-shirt and socks - shouldn't be too hard to spot... Chuck

Chuck: Looking forward to meeting you. I'll keep an eye out for the purple shirt and socks.
Unless I change my mind, I'll be in a blue-green kilt, a light-blue polo shirt with a Douglas crest, and a world-famous bonnet - either a green Ryan Ross bonnet or a black Robert Mackie balmoral from the Dunadd Trading Company.

They seriously need to put together a master schedule of events and post it.
The entertainment is the only schedule I have found in an hour of looking.
By the way the official site (I think) is : http://www.celtfestabq.com/index.html
I realize volunteers are like herding cats.
BUT, its' getting very short for someone to pick and choose the best time to be there and adjust their schedules.
