Nor Cal Games - Tartan Day @ Ardenwood needs help
I'm going to be honest, if we don't get some more help with the organizing end of things, Ardenwood is not going to happen next year. As of right now, there are three of us doing all the work, and there needs to be about five. When I started with this committee, we had eight. Sure, one or two did nothing but come to meetings, but the critical mass was there. Between people moving away, people moving on to other things, and one person just plain "saying one thing and doing something else" we were down to two. Now, because Jessica (MacFhearchair, here at X Marks) has taken over as Clan Chairwoman, we will be able to get through this year.
However, I am not doing this next year, and without tooting my own horn, if I quit, that's the end of the line for this Games, if nobody else steps up.
If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and you don't want to see another Games go the way of Loch Lomond, Dunsmuir and Livermore, then we sure could use your help.
--not just on Game Day
--not to send out two or three e-mails and put up a poster at work
... but to dive in and get your hands dirty NOW....not two months from now-- NOW, to help make Tartan Day at Ardenwood a reality on April 5th. We need an Entertainment Chairman, that's the most urgent need. We also need a publicity chairman. We need you to be able to make it to monthly meetings in February and March...probably two in March, and take charge.
Are you that person? PM me.

If I was closer Alan, I'd help. Come on northern and central California Rabble/XMTS, spread the word, raise your hand and spirits and make this happen......
