I have just returned from watching the 274th St. Patrick's Day Parade in NYC for a bit. The weather was glorious, if brisk. What I saw was mostly the high school marching bands, having caught the tail end of the uniformed services section. Besides the pipers, I saw a number of marchers wearing a kilt. One flagbearer was wearing a full argylle suit. I even saw a couple of parade watchers kilted!
