Pleasanton-Caledonia Club of San Francisco -- who's goin'?
I'm throwing in the geezers-in-training class again, but will be making time to visit around the MacNaughton tent, who usually host the Nor Cal Rabble. I'll also stop in with the Halls, and visit for a bit with the living history gang.
Out in the athletics, I'll be the guy with the green bandana on.

Great choice Alan, that should coordinate really well with your new brown brogues (but, obviously, you already knew that)! I'll be sure to take a picture for your "Standing around looking good thread"
See you then!

There will be over 100 Macphersons present at the Pleasanton games, so keep a look out for my fellow cousins. Wish we could be there this year!
Cheers,

You mean like this Alan?.......( sorry, I couldn't resist, cause this was such a great photo from Portland Highland Games this year!). What a classic photo!

The wife and I had planned to be there, but she is using all the hotel points we were saving this week. My daughter his having hip surgery tomorrow morning at Stanford Medical . Poor kid she just turned 21 and is having hip surgery.
So hopefully next year we'll be able to attend.

I can't make it, but my brother (Joe) will be there. He'll be staffing the Douglas tent and likely wearing a Douglas Ancient unless it's really hot, in which case he may be wearing his Holyrood P/V. Drop by and say "hello".
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Ahhhhh yes, the famed "Skipping Scot with Ball and Chain" event, always a crowd favorite!!
I am sure we will see Alan on the podium again this year (I swear the ol' galoot seems to be up there every year). Hopefully we will get some decent photos to post. Unfortunately, Pleasanton is not the best venue for spectators, as it is too far away from the events, but it is what it is and we'll do our best.

Well, the last two years anyway... we'll see about this year. I've got a chance in the caber championships. We've been throwing a lot of caber in practice, and next week I will have 5 days in a row of caber practice and not much else. It had better pay off!
