It was a very hard place to shot this year. The sun stayed out most of the day but was always in the wrong spot. The events were all in the one little area (which caused some near misses on the field) and one time the net did not catch the hammer and it landed about 6 feet from me. Since it came directly from my right I never saw it coming. Several times the events completely blocked each other and there was always a group of athletes, judges, well wishers photographers figuring out the perfect moment to step in between me and my subject. However being it was a Scottish game it was great and I enjoyed it immensely.
