    Richmond Celtic Christmas Show.

Anyone planning to attend the Richmond Celtic Christmas Show at the Richmond International Raceway complex on December 10 and 11? Seven Nations, Iona and Tinker's Dam will be performing both days. Here is the web address for tickets and info, if anyone is interested.

It should be an interesting event at which to be kilted. December temperatures in Richmond can be anywhere from 70s to teens. It might wind up with temperatures and conditions similar to those our kilted brothers in Canada face at this time of the year.

Anyone at the Richmond show this weekend? I managed to be there today. I totally enjoyed performances byTinker's Dam and Seven Nations. I found it interesting that other than some sales reps, and some pipe band members, I was about the only kilted guy there. I saw 2 or 3UKs, but only one other man in a tartan kilt. I wore my USA traditional Modern Gordon. (Rocky, I gave you a good plug when someone asked where I got my kilt). One thing of real interest to me was that Geoffey Taylor had a large booth. I was able to check out in person, their tartan kilts their 21st Century kilts as well as their line of jackets and other accessories. I thought the quality of everything was excellent, but their prices were somewhat out of my range. I'll switch to another topic for one more comment.

I bet kilt wearing will start catching on there. There's been an incredible explosion over the last couple of years of kilt wearing at the North Texas Irish Festival (NTIF).
