Limping and trying not to further damage the knee shall be today’s aim.
The Heavy Games are returning- your reporter is rather excited to perve (oops observe) the events.

In fashion news.... the housemate has a new kilt and a rather fabulous 6mt swishy black number it is.
The dog also has a new outfit and will expect tummy rubs I’m sure.
No idea what this reporter shall wear- Melbourne’s weather is being rather uncooperative- decisions made after a shower.

Any locals attending I shall be seated with GLECA sword fighters...please come and say hello and remind me to take some photos of us.

- Tragedy and drama in Ringwood.... the coffee van isn’t ready!
This does not bode well for the day.... they seem to have missed the fact that there are a lot of people here with weapons of various types.
- Those members who are not from Melbourne will not understand how this affects the psyche and good health of those attending.

Unfortunately the weather is not co operating but we shall wait 15mins and it will change.

Willie the Wonder Dog is rather fetching in his Prince Charlie
Like his mother he has little interest in doing the right thing at the right time.

Coffee issues resolved.
So your reporter decided that traditional attire would not work with the knee brace.
Today’s sartorial splendour is a hostess length kilt upcycled... pleats let out for comfort. A Long zip inserted next to the under apron pleat and some leg flash for fun (and because my legs aren’t bad at all if I do say so myself)

Competition has commenced Grade 1 bands at this event.
Willie is not sure about the pipe band noise as this is his first experience.
The Clans are well represented with their tents, more later when I have a wander.
