I knew I could count on you. Shall we set up a meeting time?

We'll be there as well. Are you planning to attend the Tartan Day commemoration at the Alamo on Friday evening? We always go, then on to dinner on the Riverwalk.

Had the same problem last year - everything happens on the same weekend. We have tickets for events in Austin both Friday and Saturday nights. Friday I might be able to change, which would be nice. I could stay at my son's home in San Antonio and I won't have to rush back and forth. Let's see if we have more responses.

I was able to move my Friday night program to Thursday, so the Friday night at the Alamo is now a good possibility.

Could those who have attended the ceremony at the Alamo Friday night comment on the appropriate attire?

It's generally pretty warm, so I typically wear a short-sleeved shirt. I'm thinking about dressing it up a bit more this year, but that will be contingent on the weather. The guys involved in the ceremony are typically (over)dressed in PCs, and there's usually an Argyll jacket or two on the scene, and others dressed more casually. Given that we'll be dining on the Riverwalk afterwards, I'm not inclined to get too dressy, as I'd be the only one in my party dressed for the occasion.

Thanks, Shaun. That is about what I expected. As a member of XMTS we always want to set a good example. I look forward to seeing you Friday and Saturday.
