    Seaside Games 2015, Ventura CA

Searched but found no thread for our Central Coast Games this weekend! Bob and I are driving up Thursday, will hit the maritime museum and auto museum on Friday before the big get-dressed-up dinner Friday night. I see that AlanH will be there, stop by the Donnachaidh tent and say Hi if we don't track you down elsewhere!

I'll be there with a fairly large group...wife, son, son's girlfriend, sister and mother. However we'll only be there on Saturday.

    I'll be there today!

Yes it's 2:30am. I have to go into work now and get some stuff done. Then drive home, load up my car, and drive to Ventura. Ugh... it's going to be a long day!

So if you see a piper taking a nap in a West Virginia Mountaineers chair, that would be me.

Said hi to Alan, chatted with Julie/ AcuteEnigma, think I spotted OCR marching by on Saturday, but it was just too stinkin' hot to do much else! Sunday was cooler and breezier than Saturday but still. . . Give me back my SoCal beach weather!

Do you have any Xmarker meet-up pix to share?

Agreed, it was rather unexpectedly warm. We still had a great time though and Charles ended up getting the rest of what he needed for his kit. Now to find the next games to head to ;)

As usual doing "the pipe band thing" took nearly all of my time.

No pics to share, just this video of us "playing up" in Grade 3 on Sunday, after winning Grade 4 Saturday, which gave us enough aggregate points to make us 2015 Western United States Pipe Band Association Grade 4 champions. We have been promoted to Grade 3 for the 2016 competition season.

Happy and sad, this video stands as the first and last Grade 3 performance of the Long Beach Fire Department Pipe Band. Having lost the sponsorship of the LBFD we will henceforward be known simply as the Long Beach Pipe Band.

Sorry for the sound quality of the video, all the wind noise.
