I received my brochure for the 2006 Stone Mountain Highland Games a couple of weeks ago. I am planning on attending, who else is going? It would be great if we could put together some sort of gathering for the X-marks clan.
I'm planning on trying to make it this year. I'll probably only be able to make one day, not sure which at this point.
I really want to make it this year. Still up in the air because of our move, but on the upside, Tampa is much closer to Stone Mountain than Chicago!

I'll be there again this year as well, and will be hosting the Clan Lamont tent again. I'll offer up the tent as the XMarks meeting place. Hope to see you all there. Scot
Anyone interested in gathering at the Loafing Leprechan off Sugarloaf Pkwy the Friday before the games? Or maybe Paddy's Irish Pub at Chateau Elan? These are just conveinient for me on the North East Side

These are just conveinient for me on the North East Side The loafing leprechaun would work well for me, coming from Roswell. Never been there before. I will be at the games at least one day. In and out of the Gordon tent. I'll stop into the Lamont to meet X-Markers.
Convener, Georgia Chapter, House of Gordon (Boss H.O.G.) Where 4 Scotsmen gather there'll usually be a fifth. 7/5 of the world's population have a difficult time with fractions.
I'll be there- milling about with the Grant clan mostly. That and making derogatory remarks about the "swords" ;)
I'm planning on going this year. It's an excellant reason to call in sick.

I'm not sure that I can make it Friday night, coming from the south east side of Atlanta, but I will try. I propose we do it again on Saturday evening, just after the games conclude, at a pub near Stone Mountain. Someone who is more familiar with the pubs in this area should chime in with some suggestions. Scot
I will be there again this year. A small group of us are camping at Stone Mountain again this year. If you can camp there it is a blast. Bagpipes playing in the evening, haggis, the annual haggis parade around the campground. Don't miss this. I will come around to the Lamont tent and introduce myself. Thanks
