Tartan Day at Ardenwood - Nor Cal

Once again, I'm the athletic director for Tartan Day at Ardenwood regional park, but this year, two X Markers are helping out with the Games committee...bunchdescendent, who doesn't post here much any more, is our Entertainment Chair, and seasidh macfhearchair is our Clan Queen. WalkerK will be holding down the Saint Andrews Society tent and Panache will surely be dancing in the Red Thistle SCD group. WSUPB is holding a competition, so Piper George will surely be there, as well....a bunch of the NorCal Rabble.

WHEN: Saturday April 5th, gates open at 10 AM
WHERE: Ardenwood Regional Park and Historic Farm, Fremont, CA

I hear there are new lambs, as of two weeks ago! These little guys are weapons-grade cute. Heh.

    See you there!

This is a very enjoyable little festival in a lovely setting. And for those of us who live in the valley, possibly the last tweed day of the season. Last year was partly cloudy and mid 60s F with a few sprinkles. Hopefully, the weather will be equally tweed friendly this year!

Good fish and chips and nice entertainment. Just watch out for the gopher holes.

As a special bonus I got whistled at while getting gas (petrol) on the way home last year.

NorCal Rabble and anyone nearby or in the area: this is a great small Tartan day celebration and games. Very family friendly and fun. I highly recommend. I hope to be there, family commitments permitting.
