The various Highland Games/festivals, in Arizona

Believe it or not, Arizona has several Highland games events. We also have several bagpipe bands. The next event is the Tucson Celtic Festival. Sat Nov 7, and Sun Nov 8. My birthday is Nov 6, maybe I'll treat myself to this one. Phoenix has its annual "Arizona Scottish Gathering, and Highland Games," in March. Flagstaff has one every July. It is called the "Arizona Highland Celtic Festival." Also worth mentioning, is the annual AZ Renaissance Festival, from Jan to March. The group "Tartanic" has played here, for the past 11 or 12 years. Also, it seems like each time I return, I see more kilted folks walking around, and hear more celtic music being played, by musicians.

I live in Flagstaff and have missed our event the last two years running

Planning on making it this year, and probably the March event in Phoenix as well. Not sure if I'm up for the drive all the way south to Tucson in November, though.

Yeah, I'd love to go to the Flagstaff games. Soon, my daughter and son-in-law will be moving up north. He's gonna haul cars, for the Flagstaff Toyota dealer. So...maybe I'll go up next summer. Of course, grandma (my wife) will wanna come, not for the games, but to see our little grandson.

Sorry to hijack, but Scots on the Rocks in Moab Utah might be a wee bit closer than Tucson, Nov. 6,7,8, '15.
