Virginia Scottish Games 2015
The Virginia Scottish Games will be this Labor Day Weekend (Sept. 5 & 6) at Great Meadow, The Plains. I’ll be convening my Clan Society’s MacCallum Malcolm tent as well as hosting our Annual General Meeting. As always my tent is open for hospitality to the Rabble. Please drop by.
For those who would like a Meet Up to lift a leg for a “Hamish” pose how about 3 PM on Saturday?

Sounds like a plan, Ern. Besides, the "Hamish" might make things bearable if the heat and humidity is a repeat of last year.

3PM Saturday sounds good. Michele and I will be there! Otherwise, we will be wandering around or at the Davidson Clan tent.

I'm going to the Virginia Scottish Games for the first time. The Clan Mackay general meeting is being held there this year.

I might be able to make it, spent the last week moving out of Aberdeen Proving Grounds and now 1st day moving in to Fort Belvoir, so I will be close. Should be done by then, but the evils of my youth have caught up with me and my mobility is not good. Depends how the back and legs feel. Hope to see you there.

I'm making a list of tents to visit! I'll be playing in the Grade IV piping competition on Saturday, not sure what time yet. I'l try to stick around until 15:00 if I can!

The featured beer at the Clan MacCallum Malcolm Society tent will be from a local brewery, Heritage Brewing Company. The beer will be Kings Mountain, a Scots American ale and their IPA, Freedom Isn't Free.
The single malt will be A 10 YO Jura, Origin. The wee Saltire will be there to cradle it.
I'll be having our Society AGM at 2 PM, Saturday right before our XMTS Meet Up at 3 PM.
So come early and visit often!
