Virginia Scottish Games -Sept 4 & 5, 2010

The Virginia Scottish Games will be held at the Great Meadow in The Plains, Labor Day Weekend, September 4 & 5. I will be convening the Clan MacCallum Malcolm Society tent. Please stop by anytime to sit a spell and have some refreshment. I'll be happy to host a Meet Up of XMarkers at 3 PM on Saturday and noon on Sunday.

Thanks for posting this early and the link (I explored it), we might be able to see how it fits our plans for heading north (a little side trip off 81). Any nearby RV sites/campgrounds?

Thank you. Obviously, I had not investigated the "Lodgings" tab of the Games website to find the campgrounds.

We've all been there.

With your ease in travel with your RV, you might want to consider my favorite Highland Game in Virginia, Williamsburg Games held at the Rockahock Campgrounds near Lenaxa. The biggest is the Meadows Highland Games held in Doswell which is the best organized with the highest attendance. (IMHO)

Thanks for the links, those games look very interesting. Unfortunately those dates just don't fit my itinerary, maybe someday.
