    Western Arkansas?

Is there nothing going on in Western Arkansas? Fort Smith used to have some games and a Scottish Club but apparently they evaporated or something a couple years ago by the looks of the website that has nothing newer than 3 or 4 years old.

    Just curious.

The Ozark Highlanders Pipe Band is in Fayetteville. They have a lovely Burns Supper in January.

The festival the Fort Smith Scottish Club use to run went under due to funding and people to help run it. The club still exists though most of the members are literaly dying off. We had a Burns night this February which I played the pipes at and brought in the haggis. We are playing a part at the Celts N Kilts festival on March the 15th. They meet now at St Bartholomew's Episcopal Church in Fort Smith. It is the second Saturday of the month I think. I can never attend because of work. You can contact the Presedent here: https://www.facebook.com/fortsmith.s...on=friends_tab

Everyone wants these events and programs but there are very few willing to help make it happen so it will not last much longer. This is how culture dies I guess.

Thanks for the information and quick reply. I understand about work, I almost live in airports and hotels.
