Western US Highlaqnd Games
Are any of you lads and lassies headed to the Games upcoming?
The Seattle Highland Games in Enumclaw is the next in our sights, the last weekend of July.
A week later the Spokane Highland Games is a one day at the Spokane County Fairgrounds.
August 20-21 is the Scottish-Irish affair in Hamilton, Montana...held on the grounds of the Daly Mansion, it is one of my favorites. They have (instead of a beer garden) a non beer garden. Vendors aren't allowed to drink in their booths, otherwise the grounds are open for beers and ales, 2 types of mead and several great scotches!
Labor Day weekend (the Sat-Sun before) we will be at the Caledonia Club of San Fransisco's 151'st annual Games in Pleasanton, California. A first time for us! Hope to meet some of you there!

See you at Spokane, maybe at Hamilton. Both excellent Games, maybe not so blazing hot this summer (fingers crossed!).
