2015 Long Island Scottish Games, Plus Long Island and the Civil War Book

Today the fam and I attended the Long Island Scottish Games in Old Westbury, New York. We met up with friend and former fellow Parishioner Harrison "Terry" Hunt, and his wife Linda. They were set up in a vendor tent, selling his new book "Long Island and the Civil War". Terry and his compatriot were kitted as NY 79th Highlanders, and in that garb, he gave talks about Long Island and the Civil War. When not hobnobbing with Terry and Linda, we enjoyed the Games, the piping and the food. A great day all around.

Himself and the 79th New York:

Linda & Coy staffing the book sales tent:

Himself with the Celtic Combo: Haggis, Scottish Barbecue [Whiskey Marinated Pulled Pork] and Mash.

My Rachel and Maggie enjoying their own Celtic Combos:

Tommy stuck with Fish and Chips:

Terry's book on the stand at the Games, ready for that special inscription, with which we were favored and honored:

    The cover of Terry's book:

We had a great day of it !!!

Wonderful pictures. Thanks for posting. I like your outfit. Your belt buckle looks familiar. Is it from Tyger Forge?
