I have a sister in Carson City I can visit when in town.
Is it always the first weekend in October? Nice, because that avoids the same weekend as the Ventura/Seaside Games.
In the video, at the beginning and the end when you can hear the pipe bands parading, there's the problem of bands being close together in the parade playing different things at different times.
At the Seaside Games the organisers are careful about managing that in the opening and closing ceremonies. For the opening parade of the clans they put a number of clans in between each band, for the closing when the bands come onto the field one at a time they create a big gap between each band.

Holly and I would love to see you come for a visit to our little celebration. It would be great to have some other Xmarks members here. The celebration is always the first weekend of October
