A wonderful 2 days in victorian england (at least southern California's version), People representing the great writers, scientists, politicians and celebrities presented lectures on their lives and works, Some great entertainment from choirs to solo acts performed music hall acts and popular music. I particularly enjoyed Merry Wives of Windsor and Quarter Master. Edgar Allen Poe's readings were incredible. Unfortunately Charles Dickens himself wasn't in attendence and the Queen was represented by a different actor. She did fine but the other women really liked Grizzly. A Piper piped out the festival at the closing and kilts were represented by 4 other participants as well as myself.
