30 Plus Kilted Rugby Players invade Chicago's Northside!

I was the guest of the Chicago Condors and Chicago Frogs, two local rugby clubs for a kilted pub crawl on Chicago's North Side. Close to 40 kilted guys attended - more than I've seen outside the Highland Games. I made it through three pubs before I had to retire from the lists. If I had continued, I would have been literally crawling. It was a rowdy bunch - I had a blast, but couldn't quite keep up with them to the end of the crawl.

Here's a link to the rugby club's website

Here I am on the left with Obuchiteck on the right

    The lasses were quite intrigued

Not me - It was HIM!!

Here I am with Mike from Birmingham, England, "crawling" between pubs

The crowd was getting rowdy - the songs they were singing were NOT family-friendly.

    The ladies wanted pictures

Here I am with a few of the lads, just before bowing out (better than passing out)

The Condors and Frogs continued partying into the wee hours of the night

Rugby songs are not designed to be family friendly!

Looks like a good time was had by all.

George, it was about 15º F with only a brisk breeze - a toasty winter evening in Chicago.
