4th of July in Singapore

A rainy Saturday in Singapore did not deter the American community and a good many locals from attending the celebrations at the Sembawang Terror Club Sports Complex.





Lots of star spangled clothing.





The US Navy band* entertains with popular numbers like "Tonight's gonna be a good night"

* I just noticed the shoulder tab reads "Pacific Fleet Band"







What's 4th of July without fireworks?

Very cool! A friend of mine is a Navy Captain serving as a doctor on a hospital ship for the month and his wife told me that he is at liberty in Singapore today. It's nice seeing something he might be involved in.
