This is my biggest production yet  . I hope it does'nt bore you guys n gals but I thought I'd record nearly everything from start to finish of our latest adventure this weekend to The Carpenters Arms in the Black Mountains. It was great fun doing it all. We went and did a gig to raise money for a local Breast Cancer Support Group here in South Wales. The Carpenters Arms is only a very small pub and 25 people fills the place. That said, we still raised over £100 .. we were delighted and very grateful for the generosity of all the people who turned up. So here is the record of the weekend over several posts. After many miles of travelling up and down tight narrow country lanes you arrive at The Carpenters Arms. This is a pic from the car park. The back of the pub is on the right. It was'nt long before it got dark. Here's the front of the pub We went to the pub first to drop our equipment off before going on to a Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast to drop our bags off. As you can see, the girls went on coffee and the guys said  .

Just after we got back to the pub from our B & B A quick sound check Our good friends Pete and his girlfriend Charlie (Charlotte) who enjoy a good adventure.
Later on and selling raffle tickets The draw. The lady picking out the tickets was from Seatle. Here husband is from Glastonbury and thats where they live now. It was sheer luck they were there .. she's a singer/guitarist .. she did a few American folk songs .. she was really good During the raffle again The pub dog joined in as well
This is the farmhouse we stayed in It was a place of great character .. its a working farm and the owners are in their 70's. There are no airs and graces to the place you live as they do .. its a fab experience. Here is the breakfast room. in this picture there is a grand piano beyond the corn flake packets as well as loads of other things just cramed in everywhere. Heres a view from the other end .. as you can see there is an upright piano there as well. There were clocks of all descriptions around the walls, none of which worked! The cutoot was put in position so I could head off to the gig.
When we returned to the farmhouse after the gig it was 2.30am .. we were in joyests spirits so decided to have a bit of fun. We sat around the table for a 'pose' Charlie n Pete liked the idea of singing a song (quietly) together .. can't you just see their in 'love' Trying to do trick photography .. It should come out similar to this .. Gordon trying to be the farmhouse ghost ..
Then in the morning when you walked out of the front door, this is what greeted you ... a traditional welsh upland mountain farm .. it was brill! The farmhouse is on the right They had loads of old carts and machinery just lying around
