An afternoon out for Riverdance
My wife bough tickets for us to take her Mother to a matinee show for the Riverdance 20th Anniversary tour. Honestly, the show was quite impressive. As an extra bonus, unbeknownst to us, one of my wife's friends is a dancer on this tour.
As usual, I dressed casually. However, I stepped it up a notch and went with some nicer shoes as opposed to jump boots.
After the show we stopped back by the house to pick up one of my stepsons then headed to a local "English" pub for some good food and drink and a nice visit. Quite enjoyable all around.

Looking good. Thats the way to see a show. Kilts are standard pub wear in my house.

A matinee in Texas (at an ice rink) for River Dance, casual was the style to opt for. Good decision on the shoes.

You both look great. It looks like you had nice weather. The company was wonderful, and I am sure the performance was fantastic. Twice in my life, I have had tickets to see River Dance. Both times were when I was in the monastery in St. Louis, MO. Neither time did I get to go. A migraine and my grandmother in the hospital prevented me. So some day before I finally croak, I hope to see River Dance. Until then, keep on kilting.

It looks like the closest they'll get to you for the rest of this tour will be Chicago, Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, East Lansing and Detroit... none of which seem close enough. Hopefully you'll get your chance. Thanks for the compliments!
