Andy hits the ceilidh!
No dancing pics I am afraid, when I was on vacation last week the resort we were in had a ceilidh - strangely I was the only person kilted but it went down well. Here is a shot of me and my girlfriend Beth.

I got new pipers hose a few weeks ago and I really dig them.

A nice pic, Andy - both of you looking good. What a nice touch also to have the carpet colour co-ordinated with the kilt. Very thoughtful of the establishment's management!!

Well, while we're hijacking the thread, Andy, did you ever wear your kilt in Japan? What kind of reactions did you get? Any photos from there?

Digging a little back in my history I remember this thread.
I'm sure I have others on my hard drives but I need to dig them out and get them online. Life seems to have been non stop since I got home in April. AND it's back to school tomorrow - where did my 5 1/2 weeks go?

Those are cool, thanks. My long-time best friend / crush is going to Japan in '08 to teach English, and we've talked about me coming over to visit. (I was born in Japan, and haven't been back in 37 years... it's time!) I'm thinking I'll probably take kilts to wear while I'm there.
