    Another adventure

Each year we have a few folk club coach trips to places. Last Sat we went to Oxford and then on to a lovely Oxfordshire village where there is a fab pub where we had our music session, beers n eats etc.
Here are some pics if you want to come along.
The day started with a lovely sunrise at the back of our place.

    Taking some morning air

Then it was full steam ahead

Once we got to Oxford several of us went to The Chapel of Keble College where the original painting of ‘The Light of the World’ had returned after travelling around the globe on exhibition. The painting is in a small side room off the Chapel

The stained glass window in the chapel itself …

Then it was on to the Pitt Rivers Museum … an amazing place

Then we went for a few beers here which was tucked away in between one of the main shopping streets in Oxford.
    .

Then on again to Shrivenham and The Prince of Wales … fab pub
The food and beers were excellent and we had some great fun making music

Here’s some info with pics about the pub …

On the coach back the whole 51 of us were in a sing song mood and sang till be got off. It was a fab day out.

Hope you enjoyed the little mini trip and its worth checking out the above links.

Derek: Wonderful photos! I enjoyed them very much. Like a BBC special in still life. My favorite is "The Light of the World". How could it not be?
