Went to my girlfriends company Christmas party last night. To keep it short I'll just say that the kilt was a huge success! Not long after walking in the president of the company walked up pointing at my kilt and shouting "Black Stewart Tartan, that's the Black Stewart Tartan!" I guess my girlfriend owes me one, turns out the presidents last name is Stewart and he's up on his Scottish heritage! Maybe she'll get a big bonus! I guess a couple of years ago he sported a pair of tartan trousers to the party. It also never dawned on me that her boss has the last name of McAlister! He's planning a trip to Scotland next year to research and visit family! I plan on them both being kilted at next years party! It gets better! Her company is global and has employees in Scotland. They thought it great to have me in the kilt. So much so that they insisted on taking several pictures of me to send to their overseas offices to "show them their Oklahoma Scot!" Here's a couple of pics. More will be up soon on my pic link. Sorry these are a little dark.

Thats a great story and pics. Thanks for sharing them.
Great pics/story! BTW, I LOVE the Chops...I periodically sport a healthy set of mutton chops myself!
Great all the way around. The President, the boss, the picture, the chops, the look you both have, and of course the kilt. What a great tale.

If no one else is going to mention it, I will. That's your girlfriend in the pictures? Very attractive. Lucky man.
Nice indeed. All of the above.
