Another Dancing with the Stars Cruise

Well, the first week of December I took another cruise featuring the Dancing with the Stars pros and celebrities.

Here I am with the beautiful Sharna Burgess, the lovely Kym Johnson, and some guy. Just kidding, the guy is pro Artem Chigventsev.

Also on the cruise was former Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan and the hilarious Carson Kressley.

I had a great time. I had met most of these people before and they remembered me, so I was able to interact with them quite a bit. As for the dancing, I took second place in the cha cha.

Sounds like a lot of fun. 2nd place in the cha cha! That's quite an accomplishment amongst that crowd. Did you do the sword dance for them?
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

    Great photos.

I keep reading about the cruising crowd cavorting in kilts. Last week I finally had my opportunity - a Windstar bit in the Caribbean. (My wife and I were celebrating our LV anniversary.) No one took my photo, no one took my lead and donned a kilt, but there were a few nice comments.

Well, I didn't compete against them, but instead against other passengers on the cruise. The pros served as the judges.

Nah, no sword dance. They wouldn't let me bring a blade on the ship.

I suggest you try electrical tape as a substitute on the decks. There's a chance to wow them with more than the Cha-Cha.

Dave, that looks great! I take dance lessons at a studio owned by three of the DWTS pros (who occasionally show up) and have a great time. Gave my wife a private one-on-one lesson with Tony Dovolani and it was probably the best gift I ever got her. (It was certainly well-received.) Those photos of you with them turned out nicely.
You're in Frederick. Have you ever seen anyone wear a Maryland tartan? I've been looking for the fabric and it seems that a custom weave will be the only way to get it.
    Cheers!

I would love to meet Tony some day. I've also met Tristan Macmanus and Emma Slater, who are both great people.

I can't say I've ever seen anyone wearing the Maryland tartan.
