    Another new kilt!

I just got this baby in the mail yesterday. When I ordered my SWK Hunting McLeod I asked Jerry about the Gordon tartan. They offer it as an Economy version but not the Standard. I was about to go away disappointed when he wrote back saying that they had made a prototype one that he still had, and it happened to be my size! Woohoo! This is another good example of the incredible customer service that Jerry and Stillwater Kilts provides! I must also thank my wife for feeding me enough good food to get me to a "normal" size.

So, I'd like to present my newest kilt (#7)...a rare prototype SW Standard in the Gordon tartan, pleated to the stripe.

Sorry for the lack of coordination in what I'm wearing with it, these were taken within 10 minutes of my ripping open the parcel.

    Al,

Good looking kilt! And I do the same thing when I get a new kilt in the mail. Throw off the one I am wearing and immediately try on the new one. Fashion sense and accessories coordination can wait until I see how well it fits!

Congrats, Al! It looks great to the stripe, by the way.

Al, very nice kilt, and kudos to Stillwater. I know the feeling when a new one arrives - can't wait to try it on, so off comes the one I'm wearing, and on goes the new to see how it fits and looks.

    AL,

What took you so long (10 minutes) to get us a picture? What a good looking Kilt and photo. Glad that you fit the prototype.

It would have been faster but I had trouble getting the basting stitches out quickly. LOL

Thanks for the kind words, guys! I was pleasantly surprised when I found out I was the right size. I've been seriously envious of some of the members here when they told stories about a great kilt find. I guess it was my turn this time. :-D
