I posted these in the USAK section, but was so excited about them, I had to post them here as well. Now THIS is commitment to wearing a kilt. This gentleman got married in a kilt in Antarctica:

WOW!!! Dedication to the kilt reigns supreme with that man! And congrats to you Rocky, getting the entire world kilted. Now you need to work on those penguins....
Great photos all the best to the happy couple.
This guy is my hero.
I love the comparison... Kilt/pc in the foreground, someone in a heavy coat in the background. Great pictures.
Wow! Now that is cool... er.. cold... er I mean COOL! Wonder if it is a first for Antarctica?
Well, here's the natural next step in my temperature studies. I can see it now...temperature sensors set to record during the service, with a satellite up-link cleverly hidden in the brooch for real-time data delivery...use a penguin as the outgroup comparison...
Kilted Teacher and Wilderness Ranger and proud member of Clan Donald, USA Happy patron of Jack of the Wood Celtic Pub and Highland Brewery in beautiful, walkable, and very kilt-friendly Asheville, NC. New home of Sierra Nevada AND New Belgium breweries!
May we ask how he came to be married in such a unique place?
That's awesome!! Have to wonder what made them decide to get married in Antarctica... Is the marriage license legal there?
Wow. A kilt, a bride, a glacier and penguins. That's a wedding memory.
