Looks like a grand view and a great time. Thanks for sharing the photo.

It must have been cold overnight. Were you up near the Delaware Water Gap?

The idea of a kilt as a hiking garment was what drew me into the kilt world. Not on the trail or in a kilt as much, but planning to change that. X marker Andrew Breecher has done a lot of kilted hiking, including through hiking the Appalachian Trail. You should get ahold of him for advise, and to swap stories.

The kilt is really the best hiking garment.

Sounds like a great adventure and I really envy you doing it in your kilt. My wife and I were just up in the Allegheny National Forest in Central PA (near Clarion) in February, but I was a 'wuss' and found it too cold and snowy to wear my kilt for a hike (it was in the teens). I guess I'm getting old but, I just can't handle the cold like I used to.

I don the kilt for walks and hikes on occasion. It really is good for that.

There's nothing like postholing in the snow while wearing a kilt.... That'll wake you up! Anyway, hiking in a kilt is the best!
