more to follow, but this is our Belegarth group.

We basically gather together at National events, and bash other folks with foam weapons. We are not a LARP, this is a full contact sport. You can shield bash, shield kick, charge, grapple, full force swings....it's a ton of fun! When we go to events, we fight hard all day, people fear a Cu Sith (Koo Shee) shield charge, and then drink in the wee hours of the morning on homemade mead and beer! A good time is had by all.

A fine kilted group, though some of the kilts are hidden behind these huge targes. Looks like you have lots of fun.

This event is held in Ohio each year. This year we had over 1200 folks, and 600+ fighters on the field!

No, actually it makes it more fun, cause you know you can fight hard and not hurt each other...much!

I used to LARP (before I just moved) and we built all of our weapons to Belegarth standard so that we didn't have to pull punches as much when practicing. It was great. They weren't as pretty as the latex stuff but held up well to all of our punishment. Glad to see some more people into this sort of stuff on here.

I see a bunch of the Cu Sith wears kilts and in all different tartans, why? Does each of you take a tartan as their own? When are the other guys going to join the forums?
