So this is McMathTX, right? He must have left before I got there, because I looked all around to see if I could get a glimpse of that lovely tartan. (One of the few which I actually wish I was "entitled" to—other than by given name, of course. )
So, I think this was the first time I've actually met people in real life who I had only known from the Internet before: Scrapscot and barbaratx. Unfortunately, they were leaving just as I got there. The others left within fifteen minutes or so. The Gunns were well represented. There was a MacDonald as well—Clanranald, if I recall aright. I took just a few pictures. No kilts, unfortunately. I arrived at Posados Cafe at around 8:30. I had just come from a wedding, and was dressed relatively formally. The only distinctively Scottish item I was wearing was a Black Watch tartan tam. Well, I suppose you could say my paisley tie was also somewhat Scottish.

Is this the right place?

Right place, wrong time. But, as long as I'm here....
The virgin piña colada was rica, the cheese nachos, not so much. It didn't help that I had just had some wonderful Chinese food at the wedding reception. I might have ordered tamales, but $10 seemed a little steep.

On second thought, why didn't I just order a sopapilla or other dessert? Oh, well.

I was only inside for about half an hour, but the difference was day and night. Only now did it occur to me that I didn't have any kiltie pictures. I tried to take some of a fellow wearing an Aberdeen (?) tartan kilt and glengarry as he was walking away from the restaurant, but the pictures came out so dark you couldn't really see anything except for some leaves in the foreground. Perhaps I should have shouted out and asked him to pose for me, but that sort of thing really never occurs to me.

Looks like it was fun! Thanks for posting all the photos
Sorry Christopher and I didn't make it... things have been tight budget and schedule-wise. Ah well, sometime soon, I'm sure we'll be able to join you guys for a kilted outing.
