Been a while since last adventure

... its been a while since our last adventure. But last sat as I was having my cuppa

I thought we could take a bus to Caerleon .... a roman fort town about 15miles from us http://www.caerleon.net/intro/

Lunch was in order once we arrived .. so we headed to a lovely little place in one of the country lanes




Their Cider selection is quite extensive


The wife decided on this

Only ever been in one pub in Caerleon and it wasn't that one!

We had a some great pub grub and then wandered around the beer garden








Theres a sign on the wall




And close a lettebox in the wall


Throughout the town there are wood sculptures .. these are opposite the pub

Then we wandered around a bit




This is anothe pub built in a castle wall
