What a great way to celebrate.
Mocker's are a great kilt to wear to the office. They dress up well with a shirt and tie or Pendleton vest. Lots of looks possible.
Enjoy!

Well.....I went a little crazy with Utilikilts and I have four Mockers. I love them. The heather grey is a lighter and softer material than the others. I think having the built-in hidden pockets is awesome.

First and foremost, Happy Birthday, Andy. The kilt looks great on you.
I have noticed that in most of the pictures members post wearing our kilts we always have our hands on our hips, or one hip and a dram glass, or arms crossed. However, I'd wager that if all kilts had these hidden pockets, most of the pictures would be with hands in one or both pockets. It's just what men do. I bought a leather jacket from a company rep once. The first thing I did after putting it on was to put my hands in the pockets. He told me that that's what most men do, and most will buy the garment if the pockets feel comfortable to them.

Yes....and happy 49th birthday!
Just wait until next year when you hit 50!
Oh my gosh....life will never be the same....
But....look at it this way, they say that life begins at 40 so from that point of view you are really only 9 years old now.
ENJOY!!

Totally agree! I love the pockets on the mocker. We went out to dinner tonight to celebrate the birthday. I love a sporran, but I wonder if it would be possible to build pockets into a trad kilt. This is what I wore:
