black and grey
I was at a private view of a book binding show, and of course I had to attend( as some of my books were there) so I chose to go kilted, no surprise there, but I was very pleasantly surprised with the reception I got, very favourable comments, and indeed might even have picked up an order for one, but will await that....
My kilt was freshly made from an unusual black and grey striped denim, but all in all I think it works very well, I chose to wear it in a fairly formal way, but I look forward to trying something a bit more casual as well.

and the book show is at flow book exhibition

That's a very interesting fabric and makes for a really unique kilt. No surprise you got favorable comments, congrats. BTW, would love to see closer shots of the fabric.

Paul, the new kilt looks fabulous, but may we have a close-up photo? I cannot see the stripes, only a pixelated blur - sorry!
Take care,
Ham.

That's very striking, and love the kilt pin with it.

A good-looking ensemble. Did you build the kilt yourself?

You are assembling quite the collection there. I love how you put your own stamp on the kilts with the fabrics you choose. That detail on the fringe edge is pretty darned cool. Another one well done!
Regards,
Rex.
