In Traditional Kilts, KiltedCodeWarrior was jonesing over a box pleated kilt he hadn't even ordered yet. Now that's anticipation! Someone else said something like, "Breathe deeply and become one with the jones."

The only way I've been able to co-opt the anticipation is to do the sewing myself. Finally, after weeks of nighttime sewing, the kilt has taken shape and is nearing completion. After last night's steam pressing session, only the liner, straps and buckles remain.

It is deliberately cut high and has a good flare in the rise. My intent is to cut it down later, if desired or if it would make the garment look better (sorry, I can't help the wearer look better.)
