Burns Supper @ Fredericksburg 2012
The Scottish Society of Fredericksburg hosted its 18th Annual Burns Supper with six XMarkers in attendance. We are fortunate to have a great setting, the Country Club of Fredericksburg. Fortunate too, to have the University of Mary Washington Eagle Pipe Band with Highland dancers to start the evening off for us.

Sir William was our sword bearer as the Haggis was piped in by Ricardo who also is the piper of a local Celtic band, AON.

Preston William gave a fine recital of the ‘Ode to the Haggis’, as Dad Preston Simms looked on as our MC.

It was a tasty meal supplemented by fine spirits.

Jeannette organized our raffle and manned the raffle table. There were many nice items to put your tickets on; including bottles of scotch and a Scottish basket hilt sword.

It was a great evening made better sharing the moments with the Rabble.
We have established another tradition that after the Burns Supper we head down to Park Lane for one for the road.

A happy ending indeed!
