Burns Supper in Gretna Green

Last Saturday I attended a first class Burns Supper in the Gretna Hall Hotel in Gretna, Dumfrieshire, the songs and poetry as well as the food all contributed to one of the best Burns Supper I have attended, unfortunately I only have one photo of the event and that is the piper leading the chef with the haggis into the room

the other photos that I have are of the Burns Mausoleum where the Bard lies with his wife Jean and their 5 sons

Excellent photos Jimmy, you must have got the ideal light for photographing the inscription on Burns grave, normally it is either too dark, or there are stripes of shadow cast across the inscription by the metal bars on the window of the mausoleum shading the sunlight.
By the Way, your piper who piped in the Haggis at Gretna is the same one we had at the Globe on Monday evening.
