    Business Best

That is what we were told to wear for our annual "state of the company" business breakfast. So I wore my Black Isle kilt with a tweed jacket and waistcoat.

Here is a photo of me receiving a longevity award for 10 years with the company.

We employees as a whole had just been chastised for lack of professionalism in a dress. Many have gotten in the habit of wearing jeans and T-shirts to work. So one of the slides in the opening presentation said "Business Casual - look it up!!!". Well, as I approached to receive my award Mike (our boss) announced, "Now this is business casual!" Perhaps some of my coworkers will take up wearing the kilt.

Love what you are wearing. Don't consider it business casual rather someone trying for Mikes job. LOL

First of all, congratulations on the award! Secondly, I like your bow tie. Thirdly, your boss sounds like a cool guy!

    Looking sharp, Truitt!
Back in the day, business casual meant jacket and tie. I think it still does - yet we who do usually look overdressed amongst the others. It says something for a company that cares about its visual image - which you are no doubt making a hugely positive mark for so attired.

    congratulations on your 10 years

Very smart and congratulations on your service award.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

    Congrats on the longevity award!

That looks like an interesting sporran. Stingray perhaps? I'd love to see a closeup picture of it

Great looking outfit! You look very professional. Congratulations on your success.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
