That's a great shot of the UK Survival (?) at the South Rim...hope you send it in to UK...you might get that UK of the month free kilt.
Great shots of the Fraser tartan kilt too, that's one of my lines and have it on my extended list...who's the kiltmaker for it?
Not sure how you pulled off the kilt hose and flashes with tennies look...but more power to you
And, if you wanna see some more canyon country keep going north about 90 miles from the South Rim and check out Glen Canyon, Marble Canyon, Antelope Canyon et.al.

Yup, that's a survival. Hoping to get a few more pics together.
Regarding the 'tennis shoes', am I to take it that you think I did in fact manage to pull it off? I hope so. I bought those particular shoes for the kilt. Also note my 'stand-in' sporran - a pocket from my Survival UK.
Pictures of Glen Canyon also to come.
I bought the Fraser second-hand. The weaver is Locharron, no idea who made it. I bought it from Matt, he might be able to find out.

Cool, thought that was the survival pocket...is that the basil?
Yup you did pull it off with the tennies.
Glen Canyon...dang, next time you get up this way let me know and we'll hook up for some X Marks pics. I live in Page, AZ...that funky little town on the mesa above Glen Canyon...

Yes, I thought as much, I did stop in Page to hook up with Wilderness River Adventures. At that point though had no way of making contact.
We stopped initially in some little trade store outside of the town, up by some rocks and a factory of some kind behind them.

Galant, I want to say those are great shots! With what you and Ron having dialogue is getting me thinking about having an Xmarks rafting trip sometime, and if those who do not want to raft have plenty of hiking to do. Many of us live in wonderful places for things like that and what a wonderful picture it would be to have all these guys in kilts rafting and hiking!
Ron I hope that you are feeling better.
Again Galant great shots!

Thanks Gman! A good idea, but maybe a pain logistically. I suppose we'll just have to see if there's interest - where there's a will...
Ron - yup, I thought I'd mentioned this before - no problem!

I would LOVE to see that Canyon shot as a hologram!
I haven't been there in so long that I'm actually considering a "holiday" in 2006 for a re-acquaintence. I wonder how well the "pipes" would echo on them thar canyon walls?!!
