Carlsbad Kilt Night

OK this is my second shot at posting these shots and I am working on one too many Bass Ales as it is...

Here's the maximum rabble, that's Jay aka James MacMillan, our honored visitor Jake aka Monkey@Arms, Bob aka BigDad1, Skyelander aka I don't remember but the kilt is Ross Hunting and isn't it a handsome one and Ryan aka KiltedinUSMC


Earlier Jay had everybody ooooohing and aaaaaahing over his DIY knives, I think I committed to sewing him an X-Kilt in exchange for one but in re the previous ref to "one too many Bass" I disavow all knowledge of the transaction (Jay, call me?). . .


There were many stories told but I will not hold to the truth contained herein


It was a fun evening and thanks to Jay for organizing such a rabble!

Wow, Sydnie, that was posted in record time! And, with a Bass Ale, handicap yet. It was indeed a fun filled evening, and my thanks to all for making me feel welcome in the Southland (even if you 'all did mock my melodious Longuysiland, New Yawk accent. ) Hope to get the chance to reciprocate some day.

Thanks Sydnie! I posted my flic this morning, and then noticed yours from last night. After I dropped Jake off at his hotel, I went home to find a visitor in from Riverton, Wyoming that I haven't seen since I got out of the crotch. We had to go to another place for a few drinks, and luckily it was with-in walking distance, as I sure couldn't have driven home. Guiness - one of the best and worst things in the world!!

What's this about making me an X-kilt? - - - I'll let you claim too many glasses of Bass if you want, if not, we'll have to refine the details when we are sober...... Next month?

I'm trying to figure out where a Lady would carry a sgian dubh - maybe a bodkin dagger would suit better!

It was great to meet and see all of you again. But really we need to solve the worlds problems BEFORE the Guiness comes around.

"Twas a grand evening with lots of laughter and some damn good looking kilts. And men in them. I don't recall addressing the worlds problems just a bunch of tall tales and general bull. A good way to spend an evening.
I'll get a picture of Sydnie on this forum before too much longer.
