Cats and kiltmaking
_Everything_ about kiltmaking was of great interest to this little fellow when we were visiting our daughter last week.

You needed "cat help," and didn't even know it! Both of mine like to share their extra fur with me, sometimes by shedding it onto my kilts from across the room...
Lovin' the breeze 'tween m'knees!

It's funny, we (my sister and I) have two dogs who don't really bother me much when I am sewing, but my sisters cat(and my arch nemesis) Gary is always wanting to watch. Gary normally hates me, but there is something about kilting that makes her want to hang out.

I hope you had a great visit Barb.

Now we know why your kilts come out so well. You have an extra pair of paws assisting you.
BTW, your bracelet would make a great kilt buckle. Not that you should convert it though.

Pretty cute picture! I haven't tried hand-sewing pleats with our "new" cat, yet. We shall see!

Well, I can't tell you have many cats my misses and I have but 1.5 baker's dozen is close for regulars.
I beliveve the famed Scot, Robert Lewis Stevenson defined a cat as an animal that always wanted to be on the other side of closed door! Was right!

I have six cats. They love to pounce on the thread when I sew.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

I had a kitty notebook in college. My cat was always getting in my books and notes, so I made him his own notebook w/ kitty pictures and all sorts of fun stuff in the pages. He'd play awhile and then fall asleep on it.
