Central VA Celtic Festival & Highland Games 2013 Pics

This is the 2nd year of the Richmond Games returning to the Richmond Raceway field. How appropriate that I drove down in my recently acquired ’75 Triumph Spitfire to be in the British Car Show.

XMarker Dan Joss’s wife snapped this photo of me on I-95 en route.

I met off site with the other drivers and we drove in together to escorted by a piper to our assigned area.

The Games Organizer was hoping for 20 cars but there were only eight for Saturday. But each one was a jewel.

XMarker James McCarson was on the outlook for me and I put a pretty lady from the British Car Club in our pic.

On my walkabouts I found a number of our Rabble.

Great photos. A TR7 with its bonnet up. Hmmm, I've seen a few of those on British roads! Love your Spitfire though, I owned one a few years back (actually 27, blimey!) and great fun it was too.

Actually this one is a TR8. The current owner rebuilt the engine and about everything else in the engine compartment. There were only 800 of them built.
